The
Oil City Arts Council is proud to
present their annual
Art Shows for 2010.

The 2010 Oil Heritage Art Show
This remarkable Art Show continues to be a
foundational success for the Oil City Arts Council
year after year.
This show is judged and Ribbons and Cash
prizes will be awarded for first, second and
third finishers in each division and category
specified. Location for the Oil Heritage Art
Show is the historic National Transit Building in
Oil City and runs from Monday, July 19th through
Sunday, July 25th.
Last years' Exhibit was a huge success for all
artists and our community. The 2009 Show had
78 registered artists with 221 works exhibited.
Both the Oil Heritage Art Show and the Children's &
Young Adult Art Show were
viewed by over 1,100 people.

The Oil Heritage
Children &
Young Adult Art Show
This show, in its third year for Children, has three
divisions for artists. Elementary - grades
K-5; Middle School - grades 6 through 8 and The
Young Adult Show - grades 9-12.
The Children & Young Adult Art Show is a separate
and unique venue that will run simultaneous to the
Oil Heritage Art Show. This exhibit will be
held Monday, July 19th through Sunday, July 25th.
Location for the Children & Young Adult Art Show
this year will be the National Transit Building
Annex/Floor 3 at 206 Seneca Street in Oil City.
Last year's Children & Young Adult Art Show was a
huge success for our youth and our community.
The 2009 Show had over 67 artists with almost 153
works exhibited.
This year's show is judged, and both Ribbons
and Cash prizes will be awarded for first,
second, and third place finishers in each category
specified for each division.
A new category for both the Children's Division and
Young Adult Division has been added this year to
correspond with the Oil 150 Celebration....

ARTIST RECEPTION
An
Artist Reception, which is free and open to the
public will be held on Monday, July 19th from 7-9pm,
for both Oil Heritage Art Shows.
